Hello Queen MaKeba, and thanks for stopping by my blog.

I took the sisterlock retightening class, taught by loctician Shannon, to learn how to retighten my locks. If you are interested, She offere classes. Also, you could go on the sisterlock website and get names of other locticians who offer classes in your area. I live close to Sacramento.

From my experience, if locks are breaking it is usually due to the condition of your hair before the locks were installed, or over handling your locks too soon. I'm sure there are other reasons too, but from my experience and others I have conversed with fall in one of those categories.

    Some helpful hints:
    - Be careful handling your locks. The less manipulation, the better.

    - You can use a leave-in conditioner. I use "Proclaim Tea Tree Leave-In Conditioner. I use it after every wash. Also, you can use it several times during the week to help strengthen your locks.
Do not use a cream rinse out conditioner during this stage of your locks.

Damaged hair prior to installation may not lock. Keep in mind. Hope this helps you.

    Blessings
